If a game isn't minimalist, how are we supposed to know it's a piece of art? This is Not a Minimalist Game is a cool adventure RPG, sure. And it's a clever, funny exploration of video-game tropes, yeah. And, yeah, OK, it's really fun. But how can we be sure it's art? Isn't being considered art all that matters? (Spoiler alert: We don't care, because we started playing This is Not a Minimalist Game while you were still reading the first sentence.)
